Serving 700+ Guests at the Melbourne Jewellery Fair with Palloys
Some events are about volume. Others are about brand presence. This one was both.
We partnered with Palloys at the Melbourne Jewellery Fair, held at the Royal Melbourne Exhibition Building, to deliver a fully branded gelato experience across two full days of trade.

A B2B Event Done Differently
The Melbourne Jewellery Fair is a B2B event, bringing together professionals from across the jewellery industry. Palloys wanted to stand out, not just with their products, but with how they engaged people.
So instead of a standard booth experience, they created something interactive: free gelato for attendees.
A Fully Branded Setup
This time, Palloys went all-in on branding. Their package included:
- Full vinyl wrap on the gelato cart
- Custom branded cups
- Branded staff apparel (which we proudly wore)

To take it even further, we even wore gold jewellery provided by Palloys, turning the entire service into a walking, talking brand activation.
From Concept to Cart: Our Branded Artwork Process
To ensure the branding came together seamlessly, we guided Palloys through our artwork process from start to finish.
We first provided a template for their team to work from, and once they returned a rough concept, we used our in-house design skills to refine and adapt it so it would translate perfectly onto the curved surfaces of the cart. From there, we created a detailed 2D proof showing exactly how the final wrap would appear, which was sent to Palloys for approval before moving into production.

Once signed off, we coordinated the full vinyl wrap to bring the design to life, ensuring what was imagined digitally matched the final result in person.
High Volume, High Energy
Over the two days, 700+ attendees visited the event, we served continuously across both days, and we went through 9 whole tubs of gelato, completely selling out.
Flavours on offer included:
- Coconut
- White Chocolate Raspberry
- Tiramisu
The turnout exceeded expectations, and the response from attendees was incredible.

Why This Activation Worked
This wasn’t just about giving away gelato, it was strategic. It drew consistent traffic to the Palloys space, created a memorable experience in a B2B environment, and reinforced their brand in a fun, premium way.
People didn’t just grab gelato, they stayed, talked, and engaged.

Thinking About Exhibitions or Trade Shows?
If you’re exhibiting at a trade show, you’re competing for attention. A branded gelato cart:
- Pulls people in
- Keeps them around longer
- Associates your brand with a positive experience
Palloys used it as a smart engagement tool, and the results spoke for themselves.
