A Night of Love, Elegance and Gelato: Carretto at Fior’s Wedding Showcase
On the evening of April 23rd 2025, we had the absolute pleasure of bringing our Carretto gelato cart to the stunning Fior venue in Parkville for their exclusive wedding showcase – a magical night where love, creativity, and premium event services came together under one elegant roof.
Fior’s Night of Magic
Let’s set the scene: Fior welcomed couples eager to envision their ideal weddings, all in one vibrant, energetic space. The event brought together a curated group of top-tier wedding vendors; florists, stylists, DJs, makeup artists, and, yes, even acrobatic performers, all showcasing what Melbourne’s wedding scene has to offer.
With more than sixty couples in attendance, the atmosphere was alive with anticipation and creative energy. The evening’s standout? A stunning performance by a live violinist accompanied by acrobatic dancers – a true crowd-pleaser that had every guest’s attention.
Our First Event at Fior
This was our debut at Fior with our vintage-inspired gelato cart, and we couldn’t have asked for a more inviting atmosphere. Positioned against an elegant backdrop of flowing sheer fabrics and soft pink uplighting, our cart offered a unique and memorable dessert experience. It was a seamless fit for couples looking to add a whimsical yet refined touch to their wedding celebrations.
We offered tastings of six of our most-loved flavours:
– Pistachio (the undisputed star of the night!)
– Mango Sorbet
– Strawberry Sorbet
– Chocolate
– Salted Caramel
– Lemon Sorbet
Guests couldn’t get enough of the pistachio gelato, seriously, it was gone in no time and ended up being the must-have flavour of the evening. It’s safe to say it left a lasting impression.
