Our gelato story began with a deep connection to family and a legacy of hard work. Seven years ago, we lost our dad, who had spent most of his life running a pizza shop. Though we didn’t know it at the time, but papa’s gelato cart would become the seed of something special.
After some real reflection, my brother and I realised that launching a business together was the most authentic way to honour his legacy. We’re committed to building something that respects our roots, but also positions us for growth and fresh opportunities ahead. That’s how Carretto came to be.
