A Change of Plans
Larissa and Steven had originally envisioned their gelato served outdoors in the hedge garden of Dairy Flat Farm in Musk. The setting was ideal for their garden-inspired celebration. But as the skies opened and the rain poured down, plans shifted. With the help of the wonderful Bow Creative team and their assistant Erinn, we were smoothly relocated to ‘The Terrace’ in Daylesford. The new setting offered a quaint and classy atmosphere, the perfect complement to the next part of their celebration.
Setting the Scene
We set up indoors, right where guests gathered after the ceremony to enjoy canapés, champagne, and gelato. The warmth of the space created an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Positioned beside the talented live wedding painter, we were excited to add our own creative flair to the celebration.
Flavours Chosen by the Couple
Larissa and Steven carefully selected two flavours that reflected their personal favourites, mango sorbet for the groom and choc mint for the bride. Guests were delighted with the choices, with mango sorbet emerging as the flavour of the night. Hearing both the newlyweds and their loved ones share how much they enjoyed the gelato was a highlight for our team.
A Sweet Highlight
One of the most memorable moments was when our cart became part of the couple’s portraits. Seeing Larissa and Steven behind the cart, enjoying their gelato together, perfectly captured the joy and light-heartedness of their day. It was an honour to be included in such a special keepsake.
Reflections
